Every year we go to Santa Brunch at the same place and see the same Santa. This was 11th year with this Santa!
What I love about him is he truly looks like Santa...the Santa I envision. He has a kind, gentle soul. He always remembers my daughter....year after year and she always remembers him. She loves sitting on his lap, just like her brother and sister.
I don't think our family should call it "Santa Brunch" as we get there so early...7:45am, early! We see Santa, eat breakfast, the kids get their faces painted and balloon animals made and we are on our way home by 9:30am. It is what works for us. It is what makes us be able to continue this Christmas tradition.
I look forward to this day every year. The day my daughter believes just like all the other children. The day my daughter truly gets a sparkle in her eye when she sees Santa...the same Santa from last year, and the year before and the year before...
Knowing she and Santa remember each other makes the whole experience...for her. She isn't anxious, but relaxed and happy. She truly has the Christmas spirit for she truly believes.
