Transitions

Today's gift is transitions.

Throughout my daughter's life, transitions have been an area of grey.  Many times we have to plan our days around how many transitions are there going to be in order for "x" to happen.  We know going into our "day" what we need to have on hand in order to make all the transitions peaceful.  Sometimes it works and she does great and other times it does not and she has had enough...you just never know.

Well, today we did a lot of running around and into the evening we were still going.  Lots of errands (7 places!!!) during the day to dinner out and our annual family drive around town to look at Christmas lights....it was a packed day.

And guess what?  She was amazing!  She transitioned every single time.  A couple of times she started to "get the look", but calmed herself down nicely and never got upset!

She truly shined today and showed us how far she has come with transitions!  Today was an overall fun filled family day!
